An ocean. A career.
A bridge.

Chapter One · The Trenches

Gianugo Pischiutta has spent 15 years in the trenches of U.S. finance and accounting — staff accountant, financial analyst, controller, and ultimately CFO. Pharmaceuticals. Medical billing and revenue cycle management. Medical software. Construction. Professional services. A breadth of operating contexts that very few finance professionals ever assemble in a single career.

Chapter Two · An Ocean Crossed

Born and raised in Rome, Gianugo arrived in the United States in 2015 with an international education in finance and economics and a perspective shaped by European business culture — precise, disciplined, long-term oriented. Over the decade that followed, he learned, from the inside, what U.S. businesses actually need from their finance function — and what it costs them when that function falls short.

Chapter Three · The Origin

The idea for Imperial Ledger came from a problem he watched repeat itself throughout his career.

Small and mid-sized U.S. businesses with real potential, held back by accounting operations that couldn't keep up. Not because great accounting talent didn't exist — but because accessing it at a reasonable cost felt impossible.

Having worked alongside international financial teams and offshore resources, he knew world-class accounting professionals existed beyond U.S. borders — capable of meeting U.S. standards, communicating fluently, and integrating seamlessly into American operations. The missing piece was a trusted, professionally managed bridge between that talent and the businesses that needed it.

Imperial Ledger is that bridge.

Every business deserves a finance team that actually performs. I built Imperial Ledger because I know exactly what that looks like — and how to deliver it for a fraction of what most companies assume it has to cost.
